About Me

Hanane Benkhallouk is a multi-industry consultant with broad scope of expertise, a business practitioner with over 18+ years of professional experience holding senior managerial positions in Fortune 500 companies, government and non-profit organizations, across a multitude of industries from financial services, real estate investments, to retail and franchise development, and global markets, within Europe, U.S. and the MENA region.

In Dubai since 2005 coming from New York where, she graduated with an MBA in marketing and finance with distinction as well as certification of master franchise development. 

Hanane has always believed that “we don’t build businesses, we build people and then people build businesses.” This value has always driven her leadership style, and was cultivated further when she had the privilege to work among the main team at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for knowledge, where she was in charge of innovation and entrepreneurship programs across the Arab World.

 The idea behind her approach is simple: she strongly believes that the best and most successful businesses are both human-centered and long-sighted. A business’s culture isn’t defined by its product or services, but by the people who innovate, imagine, and create for its sake. Hanane is a practitioner of neuro-leadership, theory U of change, systems thinking,  organic agility, and AI leadership, all of which she studied at world renown institutes and universities.

Today, Hanane is the executive director Sustain Leadership consultancy and leads a team of diverse expert consultants specialized in strategic management, innovation, culture transformation, and counts among her clients, major multinationals, as well as local players and SMEs.

Sustain Leadership approach focuses on aligning business’ aims and goals with practical strategies, sustainable processes, and innovative mentalities. Over time, high-level development will help foster stronger teams, an increasingly innovative and diverse workforce, and a more adaptable agile business. An active contributor to the entrepreneurship eco-system,  recognized as an advocate for transformational leadership, gender balance,  women advancement, diversity and inclusion and social innovation, Hanane Benkhallouk also sits on the advisory boards of a number of SMEs and NGOs,  she is a frequent speaker at diverse conferences globally. Hanane also writes regular columns and articles for international and regional publications including Harvard Business Review. Her work across the region won her diverse excellence awards.
